Chapter 1: Lost Youth
On the day when the high school entrance examination results were announced, the sun seemed particularly dazzling. Lin Xiao sat silently in the corner of the room, holding tightly the report card filled with disappointment. Tears welled up in her eyes. She never imagined that the high school entrance examination she had worked hard for for a long time would end in failure.
The sighs of her parents could be heard faintly outside the door, and Lin Xiao felt a sting in her heart. She felt as if she had lost her future, and all her dreams were shattered at this moment. She looked out the window at the blue sky and white clouds, feeling filled with confusion and helplessness.
"Why? Why can't I get the results I want despite working so hard?" Lin Xiao murmured to himself.
