Chu Xingyi has a younger brother who is five years older than him, Chu Xingyun. Because of the age gap and the time difference, the two rarely see each other, so that although they have the closest blood relationship in the world, they are like strangers.
When Chu Xingyi first entered college, he received the bad news that his parents were injured in a car accident on the way back to his hometown. Since he was the oldest in the family, he took on the responsibility of taking care of his parents' funeral. After holding the funeral for his parents, he returned to the community where his parents lived. He learned from his neighbors that his younger brother Chu Xingyun did not return to the countryside with his parents because he was about to take an exam. Instead, he temporarily lived at the home of his class teacher, Teacher Song.
Hearing the news, Chu Xingyi was surprised and happy: "My brother is still alive!"
After taking Chu Xingyun to his side, he has been taking care of him meticulously.
