There is a dilapidated little house in Los Angeles. Here lives a pair of sisters and their mother. The older sister is called Mei Lun and the younger sister is called Mei Huan. The sisters have been very poor since they were young and cannot afford to eat big fish or meat, nor can they wear beautiful clothes.
