Even though there are shining points in our lives, please remember that we are just ordinary members of this crowd. This is probably what my protagonist feels like.
I read a fairy tale, Wild Swan, the day before yesterday. Sorry, it's a children's book, so the story is very concise. If I misunderstood it, it's my fault.
"The little princess was suspected just because she knitted nettle clothes without saying a word. She was identified as a witch just because she went to the cemetery and was burned at the stake. This is probably because she didn't understand, so she was treated as a bad person. We can't treat each other as a bad person just because we don't understand the other person's behavior." This is how I explained the story.
When the ending came, I was even more speechless, because the princess threw her clothes to the swan and the swan turned into a human, so everyone understood her and respected her? In my opinion, turning a swan into a human is more like some kind of mysterious witchcraft than going to the cemetery to collect grass to make clothes. So instead of saying that everyone respects her, it is more that they are intimidated by the fact that she really has mysterious power and surrender to her.
As expected, fairy tales are projections of reality.
My protagonists in the story do not want to become the two extremes of the human world because of their differences, sinners or saints, and this is not what they should be.
They neither want to be regarded as a heretic and be ostracized because of their sexual orientation, nor do they want to receive special preferential treatment because of this, because isn't this kind of preferential treatment another manifestation of being regarded as a heretic?
They are just human beings, subject to law, order and morals.
I once had an ending where one of them died, and I even imagined that the crimes I committed when I was young would not be punished by law. This is probably my obsession. I love them so I will not let them be innocent. I have to let the sword of fate hit me.
We always say that in reality there are no evil retributions for evil people, so of course there can be in my story, even if they are not evil people, just because they are mortals.
Of course, it's definitely not be. My story must entertain myself, and the protagonists must live well.
Intention: This love must be discussed
