On a seemingly ordinary night, the young Chinese artist Lin Mengyao was meditating on an unfinished painting in her small attic studio. The painting depicts a mysterious ancient civilization that she discovered from ancient books. Lin Mengyao was deeply attracted by this lost world and tried to recreate it through her art.
The moment her brush touched the canvas, a strange light burst out from the painting, engulfing her whole body. Lin Mengyao felt herself being pulled by an invisible force, crossing the boundaries of time and space.
