After being hit by a tree, Arlo is transported to a new world full of skills, statuses, and levels, where those brave enough and talented enough to conquer the ancient abyss will gain incredible supernatural powers. Unfortunately, there is no tutorial for Arlo, and he is immediately forced to challenge the most difficult crypts with a team of adventurers who are not only strangers to him, but also strangers to each other. Arlo has no armor, no weapons, and no knowledge of the world, and his team grows increasingly suspicious of his lack of preparation.
There's also the fact that "the system" seems to regard Arlo's situation as a giant cosmic joke.
Arlo was determined not to die again. He gave up investing any points in his highest attribute, intelligence, and instead invested all his points in perseverance. After all, who needs gear or combat skills when you can eat fireballs for breakfast and ask for more hot sauce?
Purpose: People are born ordinary, don't complain about average talent, no matter how bad your cards are, you can play a different life. Who said mages can only attack from a distance? I want to become an invincible melee mage.
