Sveta has been convinced since she was a child that Santa Claus will come out of the fireplace at home every Christmas to deliver gifts to herself.
This is because at Christmas one year, she was curious about where the gifts came from, so she hid secretly to observe. As a result, she witnessed a Santa Claus walking out of her fireplace.
But, um... Why does this Santa Claus look so much like Dad?
Santa Claus discovered Sveta, and he told her softly that Santa Claus would turn into the person closest to the children, and asked her to keep this secret, otherwise he might lose his job.
Sveta was convinced of this. In order to protect Santa Claus's work, she always kept her promise and did not tell anyone this secret.
"Merlin-"
It wasn't until she received her acceptance letter to Hogwarts that she learned that magic existed in the world. It turned out that not every home had Santa Claus hidden in the fireplace.
During the first Christmas vacation after entering Hogwarts, Sveta went home early, turned off all the lights, and sat quietly in front of the fireplace to wait.
When she heard a noise, she immediately raised the poker and pointed at the figure who looked like her father.
"Uh... Sveta, put down the poker first and listen to me. I'm really not your father. Do you believe it?"
Sveta's face turned red with anger and she shouted loudly: "Dad! I'm not a child anymore!"
