Synopsis
A movie-winner-level actor whose acting career has reached its lowest ebb, a has-been pianist who has fallen into the darkest part of his life, a former front-line actor agent who has been pursuing and letting go of his dreams all the way, a securities analyst who has worked hard for many years and is about to fulfill his parents' long-cherished wish of settling down in a first-tier city but feels lost, and a graduate of the University of Political Science and Law who has devoted himself to pursuing the colorful dream bubble of the entertainment industry. He returned from abroad and aspired to work in the film and television drama casting industry. An up-and-coming casting director who has made a name for himself in the industry, an old Beijing man with a "love brain" who almost gave up on his whole life because of a failed marriage. His husband died young, and he worked hard alone to drag his older son and two daughters to see him off. Beijing old aunts whose sons and daughters have gone their separate ways, and many other living individuals who are intoxicated in their own lives, have developed a wonderful intersection and resonance with each other's lives based on the Wangchuan Zhuyuan community located in Tongzhou District, Beijing. Purpose: With the huge process of urbanization, more and more people, especially young people, are rushing from rural areas to first-tier cities to seek development and pursue their dreams. They work hard with all their strength. Although their material income has increased significantly, they find that they are getting further and further away from their inner ideals. What's more serious is that they don't know when they started. Having become accustomed to treating themselves and others as tools, their hearts have gradually become a desert of love. They no longer believe in love, no longer have the will to love, and no longer have the ability to love. Whether this love is for a specific individual or for the entire social group, their hearts gradually dry up and wither, and they all fall into the darkest moments of their lives. Under such a social group image, one after another self-enclosed individuals whose souls gradually withered and fell into the darkest moments, in the process of collision and interaction with others, rediscovered the connection between people, the connection between people and society, the connection between people and the land, rediscovered the connection between themselves and their own hearts, rediscovered the will to love, the courage to love, and the ability to love, and began to truly love themselves, others, and the whole world again.
