You said I was a bird in a cage, but I was silent. The caged bird longs for the freedom outside the window, but I just want to hide in the home you built for me, live a carefree life like a domestic cat, and indulge in the warmth of home.
You once cut off the sharp claws that I used to survive, and told me that the claws were useless and would still hurt you. You also said that you would always protect me.
But now you have abandoned me. I have lost my owner and my domestic cat has lost its ability to survive. Where should I go?
The bird flies out of the cage and can still fly to avoid danger. The cat escapes from the home but can only wander on the street. Wandering alone on the windy and rainy streets. In the cold night, I choose to linger on the warmth and embrace death. I hope I can really be a domestic cat in the next life, or no longer be a domestic cat.
