I reached out from the quilt and pressed down the ringing mobile phone, and then retracted my right hand, which had been cooled by the cold air, back into the quilt.
I closed my eyes and sulked in the warm quilt, folded my arms across my chest, and was still thinking about the silver-haired, lovable child who was in my arms just a second ago.
We clearly agreed that we would always be with each other.
But this sad promise that was only fulfilled for a short period of time was just a lie I told in order to go home early.
Because there was no way I could survive in such a conflict-filled environment.
(I changed the cover to one drawn by my relatives and friends! I like it so much!!!)
