When she made a promise of freedom with the girl, when she thought they could live their own lives, the girl quietly disappeared when she graduated from junior high school. She ushered in high school with melancholy, expecting to be as numb as a marionette for three years. But in her sophomore year of high school, she met another leapfrog student named Saori. As they met, the gears of fate began to turn again.
