Synopsis
Genre: Fable Drama Acts: three acts and one final chapter Time setting: At the end of the Nomoraktis myth system, a turbulent period when the theocratic rule was shaken Location setting: The "Temple of Truth" stands on top of the sea of clouds. This building combines the solemnity of the Athenian temple and the complexity of the Baroque style. Basic background: In an era when the gods of Olympus were gradually silent, pilgrim philosophers were inspired by the gods to gather in the temple. The buildings hide mysteries, the walls are engraved with the laws of the world, and the domes are inlaid with star trails. [Act 1: Prelude to Ragnarok] Scene: The central circular hall of the Temple of Truth. Seventeen obsidian seats form a circular array, and the dome's planetarium slowly rotates, projecting colorful light spots on the laurel marble floor. (The lights gradually brightened, the bronze door pivot let out a long moan, and all the philosophers filed in) Protagoras (stroking the falcon carving on the armrest of the seat): Don't you think it's ridiculous that the coldness of this stone penetrates three thousand years of wisdom? We are like insects caught in a spider's web, trying to prove a script that has already been written. (Fingernails scrape across the stone surface, making a tingling sound) Dionysus (reclining on his chair and pouring wine into a silver cup): The moment the fine wine soaks into the tongue, all meaning is completed in the riot of grapes. (Suddenly throwing wine at the star projection) Look! Even fate can be distorted by drunkenness. (The sound of gears jamming came from the dome, and the astrological instrument stopped running. Cassandra's silver bell collar sounded without any wind) Kassandra (pupils turned glazed): Kronos's scythe has been swung down, and the architect's breath is dissipating. When the eighteenth moon rises... (Snaps his neck suddenly) This body shouldn't tell the answer! Herculia (quickly ascending to the altar, the torch illuminating the burn mark on her left cheek): If prophecy is a cage, let us become the flame that melts steel! (The torch suddenly exploded with seven-color sparks) Three years ago, Phoebus's earthly fire burned through the so-called oracle curtain. (The ground suddenly shook, and the geometric runes on the wall began to flow and reorganize) Oedipus (beating the changing runes with his bone staff): What an exquisite deception! These so-called "eternal truths" are nothing more than a maze of mirror images that change according to the observer's mood. (The runes suddenly formed into a snake shape and bit into his wrist) [Act II: The round dance of deconstruction and reconstruction] Scene: The dome of the temple is cracked with spider web-like gaps, and the bloody moonlight shines through. The bronze sundial in the southwest corner is inverted, its needles casting twisted shadows at the feet of the philosopher. (Dionysus tears open his robe, revealing his wine-stained chest) Dionysus: I have sung the praises of nothingness in thirty languages until last night... (Suddenly coughing violently, spitting out blood clots with vines) This body betrays all theories! When death is so concrete, who cares about metaphysically delicate shrouds? Protagoras (crushes the falling fragments of the astrology): Look at this so-called eternal order! (Raises the scepter embedded with fragments) Power is the only true grammar, and now I want to rewrite... (The scepter suddenly grows thorns and pierces the palm of the hand) Heracleia (wraps Oedipus's bone staff in a blood-stained bandage): When the blade of deconstruction becomes too sharp, it is time to sharpen it with the blood of idealists. (Insert the bone staff into the cracks in the ground, and the spring water will freeze instantly) Cassandra (dancing on the ice, red lotuses blooming with every step): The beauty of the prophecy is... (Suddenly tearing off the silver bell collar) When everyone believes it, it becomes invalid! (The Titan in the mural on the east side suddenly opened his eyes, and black asphalt began to ooze from the wall) [Act III: Dionysian carnival on the ruins] Scene: The dome of the temple completely collapsed, revealing a mechanical sky with intertwined gears. Seventeen seats were suspended in the void, and a mixture of magma and wine poured out of the cracks in the ground. Protagoras (half of his body is mechanized): Now I am of the New Order... (The mechanical right arm suddenly reverses and grabs his own throat) Damn it! Will even power be alienated? Heraclea (standing in front of the lava waterfall and taking off her robe): Use your body to measure the final mark of truth! (Leaping into the lava, the figure turned into a golden falcon and rushed towards the mechanical sky) Dionysus (lying in the center of the wine vortex): This is the answer I want! (The entire space begins to ferment and expand) When the end of the world is absurd enough, it is the best toast in itself! Kassandra (putting her eyeball into the gear gap): See? The essence of the so-called prophecy... (The crunching sound of gears biting eyeballs) is to exchange the incompleteness for the real dimension. [Final Chapter: Eternal Reincarnation Beyond Tragedy] Scene: All matter collapses into pure white light points, and the Seventeen Philosophers float in a translucent form. There are solemn organ variations in the background. Oedipus (stroking the non-existent bone staff): It turns out that in the end, even the concept of "nothingness" needs to be deconstructed. Heraclea's Phantom: From my ashes lies a new fire... (A rainbow-colored aurora bursts from the light) All philosophers (singing in turn): We are destroyed in argument/reborn in destruction/forgotten in rebirth/in oblivion... (The voice suddenly freezes) Start a new argument! (All the light spots exploded into the shape of the pine cone on the top of the Dionysus staff, and the curtain fell in sudden silence) Interlude projected text: "Those things that cannot be answered will eventually make us more confused - To those who think about the eternal recurrence" End of the play Purpose: Call for world peace and build a better society
