[Debate is a very small thing. Once upon a time, it was impossible to have a dazzling hall like the People's Daily for debate. There were no lights, not even an audience. It was just a group of people moving a few very old benches, tables and chairs into a small room. From the perspective of outsiders, there are some arguments that are unreasonable. In today's era when the values are becoming more and more utilitarian-oriented, what this group of people do becomes increasingly incomprehensible.
[So, when you walk through a university classroom and find a group of debaters inside, who are arguing, thinking, and discussing, please don't misunderstand them. They are not directly able to gain real money in reality because of this. They just want to touch the most central part of civilization as mentioned just now. They just want to use their weak shoulders to bear a little failed trial of speech.
