Bamboos are cut and green baskets are woven, and crab grills are opened in front of the door. The vertical and horizontal orderly warps and wefts weave the century-old bamboo weaving history of Ao Village in Zhuxi. With the development of the times, small mountain villages are facing many crises, and natural damage and man-made destruction follow one after another. People in the village were in disarray, and the old craftsmen were unable to recover. Young craftsman Song Mingzhu followed the trend of the times and teamed up to establish a bamboo weaving workshop, integrating modern elements with traditional skills, and using new media to bring bamboo weaving back to life. At the same time, we will use the fame of bamboo weaving and various folk cultures to develop ecological tourism, create a new countryside, and achieve prosperity.
Purpose: Promote intangible cultural heritage such as bamboo weaving through this work, and call on more people to protect and inherit it.
