Thorn's faith betrayed him, the city where he lived captured him, and his hometown wanted to kill him.
As he walked on that land, he discerned the smell of camels and beasts from their breath, the moisture of water sources, sensed dangers and dug up square inches of land when he slept at night. Everything he knew flowed in his blood and became a brand on his body.
Every breath he took, every drop of water he drank, the food he ate, and the meat of the beast of burden were rumbling in his stomach, and so was his blood, gurgling, and every trembling crevice in his bones was washed, squeezed, and restructured by the storm; every grain of sand sinking into his shoes and socks made a sound, and his bones, every skin, and every blood shouted loudly: Iberia, Iberia!
Thorn tightened his grip on his sword.
He just wanted to think about it once and never think about it again.
"This will not be my tombstone."
Notes for reading: I can responsibly admit that the entire story is fictional and is an extension of the original work. Thorny's personal tendency is full of many personal assumptions and random fabrications. There is no thorn plot in Eagle Point, so I am here to spread rumors, haha, damn it!
Intention: Positive and uplifting
I read it in one go... So cool... So cool
