The story takes place in a picturesque and beautiful town in the Tuscany countryside of Italy, where a nineteen-year-old boy named Mariano is immersed in his quiet and sunny life every day. He often reads books by the bridge and the flowing water, and swims in the cool stream. His life is like a summer idyll. However, this peaceful summer was broken by an uninvited guest - Etienne, the child of his mother's friend, came to this country vacation from Paris, France. Etienne was a young man of twenty-one, a full two years older than Mariano. But as they spend more time together, Mariano leads him to regain his innocence, playing and swimming in the creek, and gradually, Etienne reveals his inner enthusiasm and kindness.
Mariano unknowingly developed a different feeling for Etienne, and began to silently pay attention to his every move: his focused eyes while reading, the figure playing the guitar, and the moments when they ran and laughed together in the sun. How will the story develop?
