According to legend, on Shennong Island north of the natural chasm of Jingchu Kingdom, there lived a paper-cutting family who had made a living from paper-cutting for generations. The village they lived in was called "Gumo". However, with the invasion of modern civilization, the traditional paper-cutting in the village fell into decline. As the patriarch, Mr. Mo has always had the desire to inherit paper-cutting. However, Mo Xiaobei was influenced by modern civilization and was unwilling to learn paper-cutting.
One day, Mo Xiaobei was accidentally brought to the ancient Chuzhou Kingdom by a pair of bronze dragon-patterned scissors. Here, he met Aze, the scissor-spirit cutter, and explained that he had lost his memory and needed Mo Xiaobei to help him get home. He promised to help Mo Xiaobei go home after returning home. From then on, they embarked on a fantasy journey.
