Arael is an otherworldly being from above, a place similar to heaven, filled with light. He now lives on Earth, touched by darkness and unable to return. When he rescues the innocent angel Sariel from the clutches of a dark mage, he is no longer alone for the first time in centuries, but knows he must return her home before she becomes stranded on Earth.
