Witnessed the murder scene with my own eyes
I just came home from the night shift at midnight. I always felt someone following me on the road. I quickened my pace and ran to an open shop. There was a little girl inside with a bun and baby fat on her face. In the summer, the weather was hot. The little girl only wore a floral skirt and a tulle jacket. I hid in the shop and looked out. There was no one in the dark street, only the faint light of the street lights flickering.
The little girl heard the sound of me entering the door and quickly asked about my situation. I glanced at the little girl lightly and said nothing, guessing that the person should have left and didn't want to delay any more. But it started raining heavily outside the window and I didn't bring an umbrella. Seeing that I was alone, the little girl quickly looked for an umbrella. She handed it to me. I was quiet for a while, took it from her hand, and said a faint thank you.
I walked out the door and walked a short distance when I passed by a man wearing a hoodie. I glanced at him and saw that he seemed to be heading to the small shop just now.
I couldn't care about that much at the moment. My mother was still waiting for me at home.
The next day
I just went downstairs to go to work. When I passed by the store, I saw a group of police and people surrounding it. It seemed like there was a murder case...
