On the twelfth day of the second lunar month, the Twelve Flower Gods knocked over the flower sticks in their hands, causing all the flowers in the world to bloom. After hearing this, the Queen Mother demoted the Twelve Flower Gods to the mortal world, where they had to experience the sufferings of the mortal world before they could return to their throne.
After going through hardships, the Twelve Flower Gods left behind a Flower Temple. The Hua clan is in charge of the Flower Temple. Every year on the Twelfth Flower Festival in February, 18 flower fairies of the right age are searched across the country to hold flowers and worship the Flower God.
