In 1918, Shisan wandered for thirteen years without a father or mother. He named himself Shisan. He secretly listened to the teacher's lectures in church since he was a child. He had rich thoughts of his own. He thought his life would wander forever until he met Xiaowu, the drugstore owner. Xiaowu was Shisan's deceased brother. Xiaowu later died to protect Shisan.
