Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said: "Bai Tang is an oil lamp on my incense table. He listens to the good thoughts and evil desires of all sentient beings in the underworld, and understands the secrets of heaven. He has a clear understanding and has a human body. He is a good boy."
Wei Pian said: "Bai Tang was instructed by the Bodhisattva to be a clerk with me, recording the soul's merits and demerits in this life, and judging the fortune and wealth in the next life. That is a sinister job." Wei Pian emphasized his innocence: "It was he who caused the trouble."
Liu Pei said: "That guy is the reincarnation of an evil ghost. He exploits me every day and sells my scales for money. He also dislikes my slow growth of scales."
Purpose: Even gods and ghosts cannot have everything go their way
