It takes place in Ultra Academy in the Land of Light. As a first-year student, Zero has different interests and hobbies from others. He likes to pick up some "junk" when performing tasks. These behaviors trouble his roommates, especially Dana, who is very dissatisfied with Zero's behavior.
The story begins when Zero picks up Tiga during a mission. He takes Tiga back to his dormitory, only to find that Tiga suffers from an unexplained energy deficiency, which triggers a series of stories.
