The Zen altar has three floors, eight feet wide and ten feet high. There is a large cauldron sitting on the top of the altar. The cauldron is 9 feet 9 inches high. There is a horizontal table under the cauldron, with livestock placed on it. A stele is erected to burn incense to worship the emperor and the empress. It is a high temple for the ancestors.
Under the altar, hundreds of officials, big and small, gathered in Beijing, tens of thousands of Yulin forbidden troops, and hundreds of thousands of Chang'an civilians.
When the good time came, Emperor Li invited Ling Sheng, the king of the north, to come to the altar to receive Zen. Ling Sheng, dressed in a purple gold crown of Kowloon, wearing a twelve-pointed crown on his head, and holding a jade gui, walked slowly onto the stage.
Emperor Wu personally presented the jade seal to Ling Sheng. Ling Sheng accepted it.
Everyone under the altar knelt down and prostrated, and the edict said:
"Your Majesty, Lord Ling! In the past, Yao and Shun respected the destiny of heaven and took the Zen position. The destiny of destiny is impermanent, but there is virtue. The Great Xia is out of order, the stars are hidden, unclear, and the time is approaching. When I bow, I will do evil and rebellion, and the universe will be overturned. . It was Master Lai Ling who planned the battle, conquered thousands of miles, and conquered the difficulties in all directions. He only cleared Xia, stabilized Jiuzhou, and protected me. I am truly blessed by him to enjoy the great position of Emperor Gaozu. The glory is in the high temple; the foundation of the great ancestor is restored, and the glory of China is restored. I follow the people's will, follow the example of Yao and Shun of Tang Dynasty, and honor the sacred weapon of Zen. The calendar of heaven is in your bow. I will honor you and honor the destiny of the world!"
After the edict was completed, the west wind suddenly stopped, the sky became bright, auspicious clouds floated down, and colorful lights fell on the Zen altar. Everyone exclaimed that the heaven had sent a strange auspicious sign, a sign of great auspiciousness, and that it was the destiny of heaven. They worshiped from all sides, and the mountains shouted long live. Ling Sheng received the gift of heaven and earth and ascended to the throne of emperor.
