Ci'an is a border town in the south of the Yangtze River. The people in the town live on the back of Cixi. Most of the families here make a living by fishing and have thrived for generations. That day, it snowed for the first time in a century in Ci'an, and a baby girl was born. From then on, the people of Cixi began to face challenges and also ushered in new opportunities.
"It has been difficult for women to be alone in the world since ancient times."
"If you want to be free, I will let you go."
"Si Si, I'm always here."
Mission: Struggle and getting rich, love and freedom are all Ci'an's stories, and they are also the stories of you and me.
