Synopsis
During the Three Kingdoms period, agricultural technology in Shu was backward and yields were low. Li Tuo, a modern agricultural college student, accidentally traveled to the Three Kingdoms and became a minor official in the Shu Kingdom. He was determined to use modern agricultural technology to improve the agricultural production conditions of Shu. However, he found that the promotion of technology was difficult, not only due to the opposition of the nobles, but also the impact of various natural disasters. In order to realize his agricultural dream, Li Ming had to work with Zhuge Liang to learn and apply ancient farming wisdom, and work together with the local people to gradually change the destiny of Shu. Chapter story titles and story summary: Chapter 1: Adventures traveling through time and space I am Li Tuo, a modern college student who loves agriculture. One day, an unexpected time travel brought me to the Kingdom of Shu during the Three Kingdoms period. Here I started my agricultural dream journey. Chapter 2: First introduction to Shu I realized that the agricultural technology of this era was far from modern. I decided to learn farming techniques from Zhuge Liang, the wise man of this era. Chapter 3: Zhuge Liang's Wisdom Zhuge Liang explained to me the agricultural dilemma of Shu. Together we began studying ancient farming methods and how they could be improved using modern agricultural knowledge. Chapter 4: Farming Experiment We started conducting various farming experiments in the fields. Through constant trials and modifications, we gradually found new farming methods suitable for Shu. Chapter 5: Technology Promotion In order to promote new farming methods, Zhuge Liang and I traveled around to preach our research results to the people. However, the nobles were opposed to our new farming methods. Chapter 6: The Challenge of the Nobles The nobles objected to our new farming methods on various grounds. Zhuge Liang and I had to tackle a variety of challenges and prove that our methods worked. Chapter Seven: Harvest Season The harvest season has finally arrived. Fields using new farming methods have experienced significant yield gains. People began to trust and support our work. Chapter 8: The fight against nature However, the climate of this era was extremely variable, resulting in frequent crop damage. Zhuge Liang and I began to study the impact of climate change on crops. Impacts, and how to respond to natural disasters. Chapter 9: Coping with Drought Through research and practice, we have discovered some ways to deal with drought. We teach people how to use water-saving irrigation and select drought-tolerant crops. Chapter 10: Overcoming pests and diseases We also looked at how to control pests and diseases. By using techniques such as biological control and crop rotation, we have successfully reduced the occurrence of crop pests and diseases. Chapter 11: Reform of Agricultural Policy In order to benefit more people, Zhuge Liang and I proposed agricultural policy reform suggestions to Shu. We advocate for policies such as equitable land distribution and protection of small farmers. These policies were supported by Zhuge Liang and implemented. Chapter 12: The dawn of agricultural prosperity With the promotion of new farming methods and the reform of agricultural policies, agricultural production in Shu gradually prospered. The living standards of the people have been significantly improved, and the country has become richer and stronger. Chapter Thirteen: Back to the Future After experiencing the challenges and achievements of this era, I realize that my mission has been accomplished. I found a way to return to modern times, bid farewell to Zhuge Liang and my friends in Shu, and returned to modern times to continue my studies and agricultural dreams.
