Gu Yuelin was born in a declining scholarly family. His father died when he was young, and his mother relied on being angry for food. Eventually, she was forced to leave the house and live in an old villa.
At this juncture, Gu Yuelin got a handbook left by his predecessors.
As a result, he gained two golden fingers: one was to predict future disasters, and the other was to gain a huge fortune.
To prevent natural disasters, Gu Yuelin had to start stocking up:
