It tells the story of the love-hate entanglement between the general Cheng Jin and the most favored third prince Shiyu. Cheng Jin, a mighty and brave general, loyal and upright, was injured in an accident and fell into a low ebb in his life. Shi Yu, the noble third prince, is smart and wise, but exhausted mentally and physically due to the court struggle.
The story takes place in a turbulent ancient dynasty. Cheng Jin and Shi Yu became more familiar with each other because of an accident, and their destinies have been closely linked since then. In order to serve the country, Cheng Jin leads the army, while Shi Yu is the political support behind him. The two supported each other, jointly faced the struggle between the court and the rivers and lakes, and the border crisis, and worked together to find the truth and reveal the black hand hidden behind the scenes.
