Five-year-old Zhou Yan was ill and in poor health, so he went to a small mountain village in G province where his grandmother was taking care of her to recuperate. In December of the same year, the grandparents next door picked up a child. In this way, Zhou Yan and Little Sun Zhao An grew up happily and went to school together.
All of this was fine until Zhou Yan's high school entrance exam day, when he returned home after the exam and learned that Zhao An had been picked up by his so-called biological parents to live a good life.
