Creation Notes:
The inspiration for the article "Red" came from "Seeing" written by journalist Chai Jing. There is a chapter in it called "Logic Peeled from the Mud", which talks about the land expropriation issue in China in the past. I inherited the powerless pain and contradiction from it and created this short story that is more microscopic than a journalistic biography. The title of the article "Red" refers to both red and nakedness, nakedness without any decoration. At the end of "Logic Stripped from the Mud", a reader left a message for Chai Jing's TV program about land acquisition: "Why did you choose a particularly beautiful autumn forest, a place with beautiful light, to record this ending sequence? In this case, it should be recorded in front of the bare land." Yes, in the face of such a reality, there is no need for any decoration.
