[Wakakusa]: Newly grown grass in spring. It is often used as a metaphor for young women in Waka.
In The Tale of Genji "Wakapura", there is a line in the Japanese song "The delicate grass cannot be saved, and the dew will fade away." The dewdrops that are about to disappear (like an old man who has only a few days left), and the young grass (like a girl) who does not know where to sprout (who does not know how it will grow next) that remain can not disappear completely even if they want to disappear (even if they die, they cannot die completely).
