In 1919, due to the failure of the Paris Peace Conference, angry students carried out the famous May Fourth Movement in Peiping. It was also this movement that made Shi Qi and others get to know each other. After understanding communism, several people formed a communist group in Peiping. In 1937, Peiping fell. The Communist group changed its code name to "Xuanling" and pretended to surrender, but in fact it was dormant in Peiping.
