At around 13:00 local time on August 24, 2023 (12:00 Beijing time), the Japanese government started the discharge of Fukushima nuclear contaminated water into the sea. This process will last 30 years or even longer. I will be 21 years old in 2023, and 30 years later I will be 51 years old. In these 30 years, I will experience graduation, work, maturity, and aging; I may also experience love, marriage, childbirth, and death. My life will undergo tremendous changes in the next 30 years. I still don't know how much of a variable the discharge of nuclear-contaminated water will have in my next 30 years. Maybe I will understand it after I record it, and my contemporaries will understand it; maybe it will take thousands of years for humans to understand it (if humans still have a chance for thousands of years).
