Scientists have created a vaccine from a fungus thought to be extinct for thousands of years that could protect against almost any disease. Governments around the world are recommending people to take this vaccine, which is called the 'Cadeau de la chute divine' [French]. People across the city, across the country, and around the world have taken the vaccine. It wasn't until a few years passed peacefully that the people who had been vaccinated differentiated for the second time.
People are classified into three genders: Alpha who is strong and has great power, Beta who cannot differentiate without excellent genes, and Omega who is weak but has the same advantages as Alpha. People refer to alpha and omega collectively as Lune (which means 'moon' in French), and people attribute all this absurdity to a vaccine mutation.
But the people who differentiated into alpha and omega were not happy for long. Beta, which could not differentiate without excellent genes, began to protest. In a city without daylight, aggrieved betas come together to form an organization. Together they decided to 'hunt the moon', so the people in this organization called themselves 'Moon Hunters', a terrorist organization that 'hunts' alpha and omega.
