"No," the little prince replied, "I am looking for friends. What does 'tame' mean?"
"The matter has been almost forgotten," replied the fox. "To tame means to establish a bond."
"Making a connection?"
"That's quite true," said the fox. "In my opinion, you are just a little boy, just like thousands of other boys. I don't need you, and you don't need me. To you, I am just a fox, just like thousands of foxes. But if you tame me, then we both need each other. To me, you are unique in the world; to you, I am unique in the world."
"Oh, I begin to understand a little bit." Said the little prince, "There is a flower... I think she tamed me..."
