To be honest, the moment I discovered him, I was so scared that I lost my voice. I never thought that such a ridiculous thing would happen to me, so my first reaction was that there was a burglar in my home. ———— I don't know exactly what Arthur searched for, but he asked me about the name of the game that had him in it, and I think he should know everything about what happened after his death by now. He looked very emotional, tapping the table with his fingers. I guess he wanted to smoke a cigarette at this moment, but I deliberately didn't buy cigarettes today and pretended not to be aware of it because I didn't want my house to be filled with the smell of cigarettes. ———— I am still alive and can enjoy many ways to be happy in this world. I've been trapped in the past for so long that it feels like I've died and come back to life. Seeing my tears, Arthur guessed that I must be thinking about the sad things in the past. Instead of comforting me, he told me that riding a horse and galloping in the wilderness can blow away all my worries. I listened to what he said and did it. The cold wind blew away my tears and made my cheeks sting and I couldn't open my eyes. But I still feel relaxed and happy. This is a long-lost freedom. ———— We have all escaped our own predicament, but there seems to be something between us. What is it? Maybe it's a mountain, or a sea. We looked at each other so close to each other and so far away. We wanted to touch but were forced to take back our outstretched hands. ———— Note: 1.
