Source of inspiration → Qu Yuan's "Nine Songs"
Most of the characters and relationships in this article are based on "Nine Songs", but there are also fictional elements.
The eight righteous gods in "Nine Songs" are: Donghuang Taiyi (the most noble god in heaven); Yunzhongjun (some say the moon god, the emperor's concubine); Dongjun (the sun god); Da Siming (in charge of life and death); Shao Siming (in charge of fertility); He Bo (the god of the Yellow River); Mrs. Xiang, Xiang Jun (the god of the Xiang River); Shangui (the mountain god);
I checked the information, and some scholars said that Donghuang Taiyi and Dongjun were the same person, and they were both sun gods. In the setting of this article, they are the same person.
However, it is necessary for the development of the article.
I also added Fuxi, Nuwa, and Dijun among the ten ancient gods. Donghuang Taiyi also belongs to the ten ancient gods, so their status is equivalent.
But my article assumes that Emperor Taiyi of the Middle East fell in the first Chaos War.
So in the first half of the article, Fuxi is the most noble god in heaven.
And because of the painting "Yun Zhongjun and Da Siming" by Mr. Fu Baoshi. Therefore, in my setting, there is an emotional entanglement between Da Siming and Yun Zhongjun.
But my deputy CPs, the pair Shao Siming and He Bo, are purely fictitious. There is no evidence of any connection between the two. I would like to give you a reminder here. It's just a pair of CPs written for the development of the plot.
