Think about how I was doing handicrafts in a painting class when I was over three years old. The theme of that class was clown masks. The teacher made a very cute painting tool, and the children used this as a sample to follow. I didn't think about it well, and I couldn't finish it when get out of class was over. She felt that her painting was ugly and she was very unhappy. When it was time to share it after class, I quickly helped her add a few random strokes and finished it for her (cover image). Afterwards, I encouraged her to draw boldly and not be afraid of not looking good or making mistakes. Children are all born artists. Their imagination is unimaginable in their minds that adults don't have. They can always discover cute and beautiful things. These are very precious creativity. The painting taught by the teacher at this stage does not ask you to draw likenesses, but encourages you to observe and imagine, and encourages you to learn to express. This is what matters.
Thinking about it now, she was still learning to draw. Once she told me that her teacher praised her for her courage to draw and not being afraid of making mistakes. I complimented her on how awesome she was.
Based on this mask-making thing, I made up this story for my daughter.
