The Flower God (Ji Xunluo) slept for five hundred years and woke up again. As soon as he woke up, he was appointed by the Emperor of Heaven to find out the reason for the loosening of the four-season seals and collect rent. These four-season seals were created by Ji Xunluo before he fell asleep, together with the twelve envoys and flower spirits, to set up a formation to stabilize the three realms. The flower spirits had a contract with the Flower God. The gods set a seal, but the spiritual power will dissipate over time, so the Flower God will go to "collect rent" every once in a while. Ji Xunluo embarks on a journey to collect rent. The Emperor of Heaven knows the danger behind this journey, which is related to the people of the three realms. He is afraid that this journey will not be easy, so he sends a guard (Ling Yuehan) to protect him. During the journey, Ji Xunluo discovers that this is no ordinary guard.
