In China's contemporary table tennis world, there is such a pair of mixed doubles players: Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha. When reporters asked them why they started table tennis, the two men answered this way:
Wang Chuqin: I was in poor health when I was a child. My parents wanted to exercise my body. One of my dad's friends happened to be a table tennis coach, so I went to study.
