Jiang Yan walked out of the dilapidated research institute door carrying a silver incubator.
The wind in the evening was still hot. She wiped her sweat, raised her sleeves to block the sunlight above her head, and said hello to a senior brother who was walking towards her.
"Junior sister, are you going back today? What time is the bus?"
"Nine o'clock in the evening." Thinking of the bus ride that would take at least three hours later, Jiang Yan's face felt like a bitter melon, not to mention that she would have to fly for fourteen hours tomorrow to California to bring the white moth in her hand back to the laboratory.
The senior brother patted her shoulder sympathetically: "Get the motion sickness medicine, why do you think this place is so poor that there is no high-speed rail?"
The car body starts slowly.
The huge dark clouds in the distance covered the sun. Jiang Yan raised her head and glanced at the suddenly dim sky. She yawned and closed her eyes while the passengers in the back seat were talking about strange things from various places on their mobile phones.
What she didn't know was that just last night, a leak crisis occurred in the Lepidoptera Biological Laboratory of the University of California.
No one thought that before this heavy rain, there would be the last peace of all mankind.
