When I first read "Chronicles of the Kingdoms of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty", I always felt that it was a bit obscure and difficult to understand, but not so when I read "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms".

But "Records of the Kingdoms of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty" can be regarded as one of the top ten famous works. The difficulty of his creation is far more than that of "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms". Despite this, Mr. Feng Menglong is still able to present hundreds of historical events, a time span of 500 years, and nearly 2,000 characters vividly, orderly, compactly and vividly in the 108-chapter novel. We can see the charm of the master craftsman's meticulous characterization, and through him we can appreciate that era of splendid heroes competing for the throne and full of turbulent changes.
