In the late 1960s, hip-hop (Hip-Hop) appeared in New York City on the east coast of the United States and California on the west coast of the United States. It was a dance for the poor in African American cities. In the mid-1980s, hip-hop was introduced to China. The world organization of hip-hop dance is WDC, which was founded in 1953 and is headquartered in London. The Chinese hip-hop organization is the Street Dance Committee of the Chinese Dancers Association, which was established on September 16, 2013.
