I wrote more than a dozen articles in my spare time and named them "Past Stories of Shahe" together. The title of the collection was also decided in an instant. I was born in the Dabie Mountains. There are so many mountains, but I feel a little ordinary. However, the sand river in my hometown is my unique mark on my hometown. For decades, I didn't even know it was the Toushui River, because the entire river bed and beach are covered with thick, white and fine sand. People in our area call it the Sand River. When visiting relatives or doing errands, many times we walk along the river on the beach. If we get to the other side, if there is a bridge, walk on it. If there is no bridge, walk on it.
