When Shang An was a child, he often went to Qingjun Temple with his mother to stay for a while. After the Beginning of Summer, when he was young, Shang An liked to sleep on the tallest ancient tree in the temple. He liked to listen to the chirping of cicadas and the rustle of leaves in the breeze. "I am the god who protects the common people, but I can't do anything to you."
"Qing Cang, for this life and for you, even if I am destroyed in ashes, I am willing to do so."
What Shang An worships is not Qingjun Temple, he worships the common people, Qing Cang, and wants to see him again in the next life.
