I suddenly had an idea about Xiao Yingzi after randomly reading "Qianqiu" on my list on the way to work, and suddenly I thought of the plot of Gu San. After chatting with a friend, I decided to write it down.
When I was watching the plot, I felt that Gu San's setting was very magical.
In a mythological background with the ancestors of China, monsters, and demons, the image of the human race is actually portrayed like this: Guangchengzi's three-thousand-year covenant, the spiritual fire gun.
The power of the human race seems so small in the world view, but whether it is Cen Ying or the ancestors, the human race composed of individuals from different time and space is so powerful.
While flying non-stop, people feel a hint of the power of "technology", but this is a "myth".
So in the process of writing, I had to think about how the two seemingly opposing elements of "mythology" and "technology" were integrated so well in the plot of Gu San; as I wrote, I couldn't help but think of the background of Gu San similar to the Ming Dynasty.
So I thought: If it were in that dynasty, what would happen to Xiao Yingzi when he traveled to sea? She is so sensible and strong, and knows so many things. Many people will like her, especially children. Although Beiluo and Yun Wuyue will not travel with her, they will definitely think of her, and the same goes for Xiaoyingzi. So will her other friends worry about her safety? She should be given some amulets and the like; Xiaoyingzi will definitely travel around the world with a compass and a picture album. So, who drew her in the picture album?
Just like that, I finished writing this short story.
Intention: Human race marches forward for a thousand years!
