The original plan was to write about a lot of cases. When I wrote it, no one paid much attention to reasoning, but it was later cut.
So it is just a 40,000-word short story, prologue + maze house (tribute) + 48 hours of fairy tale (linked with the Grey's story about the golden retriever next door). It can be regarded as a less inhumane development of the heroine next door, giving the thoroughly used Ayatsuji a chance to reason about love on a daily basis. The description of the fairy tale was a bit rushed because I didn't want to write it at the time so I was pushing the plot, but the puzzles and decryptions are complete.
There were really many cases to be written about in the original plan... In the Labyrinth Hall, you can see how much was thrown away to introduce the character relationships in the follow-up, as well as the story of the abnormal transformation and the world line, but they were all removed in the follow-up. It originally took dozens of chapters for Gray to realize what love is, but then it was solved directly by the neighbor linking up. It's not a bad thing (hey).
Each world of Grey's will be different. Characters and experiences should not be brought into each other. Each article will give a minimum amount of background information for reading.
