The "Qingyang Bookstore" at the east end of the town has been guarding the time and the fragrance of ink for more than 20 years. The owner Li Qingyang is a "bookworm" known to everyone in the town. He always wears washed soft cotton shirts, and his fingertips feel the warmth of the pages. He will prepare wooden stepping stools for his children, make warm chrysanthemum tea for regular customers, and capture the daily fireworks of the town with gentleness.
No one knew that there was a yellowed "Book of Songs" locked deep in his drawer, with a blurry old photo between it: the girl in the white dress had a pear-shaped smile, which was a concern that he had hidden for half his life.
