In the future where everyone will go, I may fall in a stray bullet that comes from nowhere, or in a sudden explosion, or in the face of an unnumbered crude sword. My body remains in this land I love, pouring my bones and blood for a brilliant future. My soul goes ahead and waits in the upright future.
I am in the tears in the eyes of every person who stays and thrives on this land, in the soil under the feet of every person who leaves this land to seek a new life, in every system that carries history and natural evolution on this land, and in every year and month of orderly replacement on this land.
I love, I die for, so I leave traces, so I am everywhere.
