To be a gentleman, repent every day, cleanse your soul, resolve grudges, open your heart, purify your temperament, have a bright mind, be one with the world and the universe, be healthy, have great wishes, and good luck will come your way.
The method of repentance is stated in the Sixth Patriarch's Altar Sutra:
What is the name of repentance? What is the name of repentance? Those who confess, repent of their past mistakes, all the bad karma in the past, such as ignorance, arrogance, deceit, jealousy and other sins, they have all been confessed and they will never happen again. This is called repentance.
Those who regret, regret their past mistakes. From now on, all evil karma, foolishness, arrogance, deceit, jealousy and other sins have now been awakened. They are all done away with forever, and they will never be committed again. This is called regret, so it is called repentance.
The degree of repentance, the highest level of repentance, makes the eyes bleed and the pores bleed.
Purpose: True love makes me believe that even entanglements are destiny
